Mobilio Introduces Innovative Device Protection Program for the Prepaid Wireless Dealer Channel

wireless dealers the convenience of a low one time fee PIN-based coverage for refurbished, pre-owned and new devices.

The Mobilio Protection program not only covers new devices, but also refurbished and pre-owned devices no matter if it was purchased one month, three months or six months ago.
Traditional protection programs provided by wireless carriers and large retailers only cover new devices - those purchased in the past 30 days. Providing protection for pre-owned devices is important to the dealer channel, as
many of the devices the dealers sell and service are certified refurbished or pre-owned (BYOD).
The Mobilio Protection Plan is a prepaid PIN-based plan that allows dealers to use a process that they’re already familiar with to process and sell a protection plan. Dealer simply selects Mobilio Protection from their airtime POS provider system, prints a PIN receipt with details of the plan and simple instructions for the customer to follow to self-register their device from their home computer or mobile device.
