Brightstar Device Protection Announces Winners of the 2016 Salute to Excellence Awards

Brightstar Device Protection proudly announced its winners for the 2016 Salute to Excellence Awards on Thursday, May 5, 2016. Held at the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island during the company’s Growth Summit conference, the awards program honored Carriers and National Retailers with exceptional device protection programs.

This year’s event featured four award categories including the STAR award, BRIGHT award, Marketing Excellence award, and Overall Excellence award. The ceremony was hosted by Brightstar Device Protection’s Senior Vice President and Head of Insurance, Fraser Parker and co-hosted by Senior Director of Account Management, Jenny Rouse. Cellcom was honored as this year’s overall winner.

C Spire

The largest privately held wireless communications provider in the U.S., C Spire was named a Bright award recipient for their strong customer focus, operations strategy, and marketing campaigns.


Glentel, a Canadian retail firm with over 400 wireless outlets operating under the Tbooth Wireless and WirelessWave brands, won the Bright award for their incredible customer focus, exceptional device replacement time, and unwavering dedication to the program.


One of Canada’s leading communications solutions companies, MTS took home the BRIGHT award for their impressive program growth, exceptional customer experience, and operational mastery.


Sprint, the fourth largest American wireless network operator serving 58.8 million customers nationwide, were recognized for their successful Marketing and Training campaigns, consistent program growth, and dedication to program improvement.
